Barnläkare och sjukgymnast från Astrid Lindgrens Barnsjukhus besökte Riga

Under en dag hölls ett seminarium på Vaggans barnhem i Riga. Dels en föreläsning men också hands on som synns av bilderna. Besöket var mycket uppskattat. Så här skrev man från barnemmet till Vaggan:

On January 11 in the State social care center Riga branch Plavnieki we had professional workshop ” Pediatric Habilitation in Sweden ” with Sintija Kolbjer and Cecilia Lidbeck from Astrid Lindgren Children’s hospital in Stockholm. Sintija Kolbjer is nourologist and Cecilia Lidbeck is physiotherapist. There were 19 participants – doctors, therapists, nurses, special teachers who work with children in the social care center in Riga.

One part of the workshop was dedicated to two lectures about the multiprofessional team work in habilitation and about the National cerebral palsy monitoring system in Sweden.

The other part was more practical – Sintija and Cecilia consulted children who are placed in our care center and require habilitation. Advices were really useful for our specialists.
